SEO Elite - Internet Advertisers Be Careful!
The SEO Elite website is full of positive reviews about its software, claiming quick and easy website promotion through the use of its automated program. SEO Elite professes their software can assist websites in obtaining top search engine results for less than $200. No matter the product or service a site markets, or whether advertising to an international or local audience, the company claims its software can achieve top search results for its users.
This is a simple sale to many marketers since the cost of the product is only a fraction of the investment associated hiring a professional SEO company. Why not give SEO Elite a shot? With all this hype and praise why should internet advertisers be cautious when using this or any such program?
Still, as a smart marketer, it can be hard to ignore all the accolades surrounding SEO Elite. There are countless websites that praise this software as a means to help with an international, national, or local campaign regardless of the competitiveness of the keyword space. Keep in mind the biases behind many of these articles and web pages (including this one). SEO Elite has an affiliate program that rewards and encourages webmasters to persuade individuals or companies to purchase their software. In fact, SEO Elite pays webmasters a 50 percent commission on each referral that results in a sale. That is an enormous commission and the primary reason why there are numerous sites promoting the software.
I caution all advertisers to be careful. While the idea of top search results with little effort and investment is nice, rarely is it possible. There are reasons why professional search engine marketing companies exist and why companies use them. Similarly, those who choose to promote sites internally spend countless hours working hard to achieve top rankings.

I’ve purchased similar programs to SEO Elite in the past only to learn the hard way how little they are worth. I added a link to this article; I hope it helps your cause. It would be nice to see a site that actually criticized these products appear before newbies turn into victims. Best of luck.

That’s huge. But If this is true many websites should actually have been removed from google index. don’t you think.
Sure, I know google could say that in the TOS but how will they know if some one has used a SEO software.

… And crazysem, though I have not used SEO Elite but I know some other products produced by the company that made SEO Elite, they are actually very nice products to own.
It might be that the product you purchased did not perform to expectation; because I know SEO software that does very well.

Google certainly cannot detect every automated program out there…yet. However, there are certain signatures that automated programs leave. They create sites or links to website that have a common thread. Google has more engineers than NASA, it is not an overly difficult task to penalize a site or discount ones that appear to use such programs.
It is certainly a valid point that and true that sites do use automated programs and “sneak under” the Google radar. The question is not if Google will discover those sites, but when. They make it extremely clear that it is a violation of their TOS to use such programs. Google is not forgiving to those who knowingly violate their terms of service.
I am certainly interested in hearing about the other products that are nice to own and produced by the company. However, the bottom line is that any automated ones are a violation of the TOS and are no better than SEO Elite in that respect.
Certainly the idea that a inexpensive program can generate a large amount of income is appealing. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case, and most people who but such products soon regret the purchase.

Interesting review.
I would say this. SEO Elite does not promise top rankings in Google. It provides more of a road map as to what is necessary to rank. It will not achieve rankings for you or without you doing anything.
This is a tool and like any tool it only makes the process easier and helps define a more targeted course of action for webmasters to see what works and what does not.
SEO Elite does what it was designed to do. Its up to users like yourself to determine how to use it. With that being said I appreciate you not trashing it without trying it. Its definitely something that any SEO can benefit from using, but I would ask that you test and find that out for yourself.

After conducting a little additional research I discovered that Brad Callen is actually the owner of SEO Elite. Now while I do not know if Brad Callen actually wrote the above comment himself there are quite a few points worth mentioning in response to his comments.
1.) The poster originally utilized horrible grammar, only after editing the post to use proper English did I consider it suitable for posting on the blog.
2.) SEO Elite makes extremely bold claims. The front page of its site currently states, “Introducing the ONLY search engine optimization software product that has been 100% PROVEN to dramatically increase your rankings in Google,
Yahoo, and MSN - GUARANTEED & I’ll prove it!”. This is a complete contradiction to the posters first statement.
3.) None of this changes the fact that the “tool” is again Google’s Terms of Service.
4.) There is a false assumption I never looked at the software and am “trashing it”. I fully reviewed the software and its functionality and stand completely behind the original posting.
I still find it extremely disheartening how many people are suckered into believing that this program can achieve the claims asserted on the company’s own site. Brad Callen or not, whoever wrote this post, did nothing to dispute any of the reason why it is not a smart idea to purchase SEO Elite.
