I added this comment below since it escaped numerous spam filters, surprisingly made it to the legitimate comments portion of my backend, and the copy is not duplicated verbatim on the internet.

I am coming late to this post but it is a great big issue in the UK right now.

Barristers have recently been allowed to take clients without having a solicitor involved.

Bigger news still is the new 'ABS law' commences in October which will allow lawyers to work in non-legal companies providing 'regulated' legal services.

They will be like any other business any day soon.

Comment spamming is obviously not a smart idea in any type of of SEO. Any lawyer hiring a third party company to increase their website's rankings, might want to make certain the provider is not simply posting on any topic that is law related; otherwise the 'victim' attorney could end up with the inverse of their intended consequences, along with a website that is potentially banned from the Google and the other search engines.

Update/Proof: This page now appears as the number two listing in Google, Yahoo, and Bong whenever the phrase 'Brent Yorzinski' is entered. Thus this is now an excellent example of how personal reputation management can make a difference.

The eBay auction closed out with mixed success. While no individuals bid directly through the medium as hoped, many did contact Agilis Marketing, and the company selected one to assist with their SEO project. The company is accepting a couple new clients this month so those who were not selected are welcome to keep in contact if there is still interested and a mutually beneficial relationship is foreseeable.

Individuals/entities requested additional time to review their plans and thus created the new listing to extend the time. The links to the SEO ebay auction are updated in the post to reflect this. The original listing is at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180681216254 Please note that there are no changes to any of the conditions. Thank you to all whom expressed interest.

@gmail.com is referenced to illustrate one of the many free email services the individuals can utilize for delivering solicitations without using their own domain name (others include @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com). Unsolicited marketing is less likely to arrive from @your_domain_name.com since not only is it costlier in absolute terms but a website owner is placing a high degree of risk that the domain will end up blacklisted by various services and/or email providers.

SEM = Search Engine Marketing

SEO = Search Engine Optimization

SEM encompasses more than that typically offered by SEO companies or services with a focus on Return on Investment rather than simply top search engine rankings.

Mike,

I appreciate all your insightful comments. It is rare that I find a comment worth approving, but your comment definitely fit the bill. That said as with everyone, I did notice that you have a bias, based solely on the fact that your handle links to an automated SEO software page and thought it worthwhile to point out.

It is your last comment I disagree with the most. Google expressly forbids the usage of automated software in their webmaster guidelines and terms of service. You are certainly correct when stating one reason is due to server load, but the other reason relates to software intended to manipulate the search results, such as SEO Elite and others. If discovered Google can ban an entire site from its search results.

"Try" is the operative word in your final comment. The software providers are always attempting to build a better mouse trap that Google cannot detect. However at the end of the day it still violates the Google's rules and more ofter than not individuals that use such tools are eventually caught.

There is no doubt that automated SEO software is a major industry and thus SEO Elite and others "try" not to hurt their clients, but at the end of the day the company is simply attempting to sell a products which attempts to circumvent Google's rules. There are no shortcuts in SEM. Unfortunately many new to the market due not come to this realization until after that fact, time is spent, money is wasted, and search results are hurt.

It is nice to read unbiased review of a product...it gives it credibility, i thought i would see an affiliate link or so..

Anyway, i just want to say this: what Google defines about the unacceptable methods to them, it means automated queries to their servers which i agree with Google that it is a burden on their servers, none the less it is not that bad, and if you look at any seo software seo elite or not you will find some sections that violates Google's terms and other sections that does not.

However we are living in a high competitive world these days and nothing is perfect, right?

Mike J.

So even though some SEO Software may break the rules, they never hurt you at all because the designers of these software try to make sure that this will never happen their clients.
